JANUARY 2019

The Farmstead annual meeting is Saturday, January 26th, 10am in the Keene Public Library auditorium. You should have received the annual meeting packet containing the budget for 2019. Fees will increase $2.00/month, effective February 1st. The packet also includes updated Rules and Regulations of the Asso-ciation and a notice to all owners about the discussion of By-Laws Amendments we’ll have at the Annual Meeting. If you are unable to attend, PLEASE send your proxy to CB Property Mgt., You can mail, e-mail, fax, hand deliver it, or drop It off to any Director (Units 11, 47, 57, 75.) If you haven’t received the packet, please let us know IMMEDIATELY.

It is important owners pay condo fees in-full and on-time. When even one owner doesn’t pay it affects the budgeted services for the whole Association. Please make your checks to Farmstead Commons Association and not to CB Property Management. Your unit number should be displayed, all information should be clear and payments should be mailed

in time to reach us by the 10th of the month in which they are due.

Now that winter is here. It’s important you move your vehicle(s) for the plows. White’s comes during the storm to clean the Entrance Road, driving areas and open spaces. When the storm is over they return to clean up the entire driving and parking areas and cars need to move at that time. It’s as simple as moving for a brief time let them clean the spaces and then you can return. Also remember if you don’t move you can be towed without notice. If for some reason you’re not towed and you clean off or move your car after White’s has cleared the lots and they have to come back, you’ll be charged for their return “clean up” trip. Moving your vehicle(s) means the lots remain safe for everyone

.Please be aware of the Recycling Guidelines and recycle properly. If you’re unsure whether an item can be recycled, don’t. One “wrong” item contaminates the entire batch. If you need a new copy of the Recycling Guidelines, call our office.

When you need something done inside your home, Dennis is available to paint, repair, build, hang, install, assemble or whatever else you need. He does a great job! Call the office for a free estimate.

Finally, remember to be a good neighbor (that was one of your New Year’s resolutions, right?) Don’t play the radio, TV or music too loud, don’t use the vacuum or other appliances or with raised voices, especially in early morning or during the evening and at night. Walk dogs on a leash at all times, clean up after the dog and don’t leave dog clean-up bags on the doorstep to take care of later or by the mailbox shelter. Put them in the dumpster immediately.

Winter is here, so bundle up and enjoy whatever you do at this time of year: skiing, skating, sliding, playing cards, board games or just sitting in a comfortable chair watching TV, reading or watching the snow fall outside your window. Before you know it, spring will be here and you’ll be happy to go outside and enjoy those first not-so-cold days. I can’t wait!
